Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Mirin
- 1/2 teaspoon Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon White sugar
- 1 tablespoon Canola oil
- 3/4 pound Flank steak cut thinly against the grain
- 1 pound of Green beans trimmed
- 2 teaspoons Minced ginger
- 2 cloves Minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Mix the soy sauce, mirin, cornstarch, and sugar in a small bowl or measuring cup.
- Add the canola oil to your skillet on medium-high heat.
- Cook the beef in batches in the skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side before removing it from the pan.
- Add the green beans and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds while stirring.
- Add the stir fry sauce into the skillet and cook for 30 seconds, then add the beef back in and toss to coat.
- Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
