We all know that Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s breakup made headlines for days now, and as the story progresses, new information is coming to light. As a matter of fact, their messy breakup has also been decided to be featured on the reality show by its producers.
With that, recently, the now-former couple reportedly shot an emotional scene at their house in Los Angeles for the reality show’s season 10, the day the infidelity scandal was made public, wherein they discussed Sandoval’s affair with their co-star Raquel.
According to information obtained by Page Six, Sandoval’s long list of explanations for delaying his admission of infidelity caused Ariana to feel “gaslit” by him, saying, “Ariana walked away from the conversation feeling like she was gaslit by Tom.”
“He gave her several excuses as to why he never copped to cheating,” the sources close to the production added. “Tom said he didn’t tell her about the affair with Raquel because he was worried about how it would impact her mental health, even claiming that he was especially concerned after her grandma died last year.”
With the passing of Ariana’s grandmother, Phyllis “Bonnie” Cameron, in September 2022, she spent some time last year traveling to Florida to see her family. And yet, Sandoval and Raquel’s affair has been occurring simultaneously.
This information is also something Raquel’s ex-fiance, James Kennedy, confirmed. The two’s illicit relationship occasionally transpired when Ariana was sleeping, according to James, who revealed this in a direct message to the gossip website Deuxmoi. Raquel has additionally been staying at Sandoval and Ariana’s home while Ariana is away.
“The fact that they own a home together was also brought up,” a different source stated. “And how he thought that would make their breakup even more complicated.”
Moreover, the insiders went on to say that Ariana “has recapped what happened with her friends and castmates, the majority of whom are disappointed Tom seems unable to take accountability for his actions or express substantial remorse. Of course, they’ve been rallying behind her in the passing days.”
This overall information about their shoot comes after Tom was spotted arriving at Raquel’s apartment on Saturday evening, just days after their breakup. And while the two controversial television personalities met early in the day for a shoot with Bravo, Tom’s visit to his other woman is “not for the cameras.” Meanwhile, Ariana and Tom’s shoot happened before the latter visited Raquel.
As we previously reported, Tom and Raquel had been having an affair for several months before the infidelity scandal became public. And despite Tom’s long-term romance with Ariana, they apparently want to be together.
It was also reported that Ariana learned of the alleged infidelity on Wednesday last week in Los Angeles while she was at Tom’s performance with his band.
Both Ariana’s friend, Sandoval’s other ex, Kristen Doute and Scheana Shay has come to her defenses after the cheating scandal made headlines. Kristen calls out Raquel after the latter’s new PR team strategy has been revealed, trying to make her appear as a victim, while reports have been alleged that Scheana gave the former beauty queen a black eye.
Ariana’s brother Jeremy also did the same thing by releasing a statement regarding their nasty affair, which Raquel’s ex-fiance, James Kennedy, did too.
So far, in this very controversial issue, only Sandoval was the first to break his silence. However, based on how Sandoval’s statement was written, it seems like other people urged him to speak out because it affects his family and business. But he did not choose to speak out and address the affair or show any remorse.
