Ingredients
- 1 lb Shrimp – deveined and shelled
- 3 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 5 cloves Garlic – minced
- ½ lbs Asparagus tips
- ¼ cup Lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat in a 10.5′′ or larger cast iron skillet. Once hot, add garlic and asparagus and cook for about 3 minutes.
- Move the asparagus to the side of the skillet and add the shrimp, cooking for 1-2 minutes per side until done.
- Add lemon juice and cook for another minute or until most are evaporated.
- Season with salt and paper before serving.
