Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp – deveined and shelled
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 5 cloves Garlic – minced
  • ½ lbs Asparagus tips
  • ¼ cup Lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat in a 10.5′′ or larger cast iron skillet. Once hot, add garlic and asparagus and cook for about 3 minutes.
  2. Move the asparagus to the side of the skillet and add the shrimp, cooking for 1-2 minutes per side until done.
  3. Add lemon juice and cook for another minute or until most are evaporated.
  4. Season with salt and paper before serving.
