Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean ground turkey
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • ½ tsp Red pepper – cracked
  • ½ tsp Thyme
  • ½ tsp Sage
  • 4 cup Spinach
  • 6 Eggs
  • 6 Egg whites
  • 3 tbsp Almond milk
  • ½ cup Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey and seasonings using your hands.
  2. Melt the ghee in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meat and cook until the ground turkey is browned. Stir in the spinach until it is wilted.
  3. Whisk the eggs and almond milk in a mixing bowl, then pour over the turkey sausage and spinach. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Place the skillet in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the eggs are set. When the tip of a sharp knife inserted into the center comes out clean, the frittata is done. Allow 10 minutes for the frittata to rest before slicing.
