Ingredients
- 1 pound Lean ground turkey
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- ½ tsp Red pepper – cracked
- ½ tsp Thyme
- ½ tsp Sage
- 4 cup Spinach
- 6 Eggs
- 6 Egg whites
- 3 tbsp Almond milk
- ½ cup Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey and seasonings using your hands.
- Melt the ghee in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meat and cook until the ground turkey is browned. Stir in the spinach until it is wilted.
- Whisk the eggs and almond milk in a mixing bowl, then pour over the turkey sausage and spinach. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place the skillet in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the eggs are set. When the tip of a sharp knife inserted into the center comes out clean, the frittata is done. Allow 10 minutes for the frittata to rest before slicing.
