Servings: 4 servings

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 25 minutes

Total time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Cauliflower, florets
  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheese, or 1/3 cup soft cheese
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. To begin, set your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, detach the cauliflower florets from the stem or use pre-frozen and defrosted cauliflower florets. Then, shred them into small pieces using a food processor or a box grater.
  2. Put the cauliflower rice into a microwave-safe bowl, cover it, and microwave it for about 4-5 minutes until it’s softened. Another option is to cook the cauliflower rice in a pan on the stove over medium heat for approximately 8-10 minutes. When it’s done, please allow it to cool down until it’s safe to handle.
  3. Move the cauliflower rice to a nut milk bag or a thin kitchen towel. Extract the water from the cauliflower by compressing it until all the excess moisture has been removed. Make sure to squeeze as much as possible!
  4. Put the cauliflower rice drained into a big mixing bowl. Add the cheese, egg, and spices. Use your hands to blend everything until it becomes the consistency of pizza dough.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then use your hands to flatten the pizza dough into a circular shape approximately 9 inches in diameter. It will be ideal to have a pizza stone, resulting in a crispier crust.
  6. Place the cauliflower pizza crust onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes or until it becomes slightly golden. Alternatively, you can bake it for 20 minutes, flip the crust over, then bake for an additional 5-10 minutes for an even crispier crust.
  7. After baking, add your desired toppings to the cauliflower pizza, then bake it for approximately 10 minutes.
  8. You will end up with a cauliflower pizza with toppings.
