Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 45 minutes

Total time: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Cooking oil or Avocado oil
  • 2 Fresh pork bones in chops of about 2 pounds total weight
  • 1 small Red pepper seeded and sliced
  • 1 small Onion peeled and sliced
  • 30 g Fresh broccoli
  • 113 g Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1.5 tsp Garlic powder divided
  • 0.75 tsp Sea salt divided

Instructions

  1. To begin, set the oven temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, heat a large frying pan on medium-high heat and drizzle cooking oil into it.
  2. Take 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and ½ teaspoon of salt, sprinkle it on both sides of the pork chops, and rub it in. Once the pan is hot, sear the pork chops and transfer them to a baking sheet.
  3. Add the peppers and onions to the frying pan and cook them until they become softened. Then, add broccoli and cook it until it becomes wilted. Sprinkle ½ teaspoon of garlic powder and ¼ teaspoon of salt on the cooked vegetables and allow them to cool for 5 minutes. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the cooked veggies with the shredded cheese.
  4. Cut a slit in the pork chops until you reach the bone, then stuff them with the cheese and vegetable mixture. Finally, place the stuffed pork chops in the oven and cook for 30-35 minutes, or until the meat thermometer reads 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
