Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground turkey
- 1 tbsp. Olive oil
- 1 small Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 8 oz. Mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup Chicken broth
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp. Dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 oz. Fresh green beans, trimmed and blanched
- 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the onion and garlic to the skillet, and sauté until softened about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet, and sauté until they have released their liquid and are tender about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the chicken broth into the skillet, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream, dried thyme, salt, and pepper to the skillet, and stir until the sauce is combined.
- Add the blanched green beans to the skillet, and stir until they are coated in the sauce.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot, and enjoy!
