Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground turkey
  • 1 head Cauliflower, chopped into small florets
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Chopped fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned and cooked through about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Steam the cauliflower florets while the turkey is cooking until tender, about 10-12 minutes.
  3. Once the turkey is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set it aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add the steamed cauliflower to the skillet, and stir to coat it in the butter.
  6. Use a potato masher or immersion blender to mash the cauliflower until it reaches a mashed potato-like consistency.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and mash until smooth.
  8. Return the cooked turkey to the skillet, and stir to combine.
