Like others, her shield is the Bible.

On Tuesday, at a city council meeting in Franklin, Tennessee, former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Victoria Jackson rants about homosexuality. Jackson approached the podium to chime in on the council’s discussion regarding the holding of a gay pride parade.

She claimed that Franklin should not honor the LGBT community because God hates sodomy, homosexuality, sexual immorality, and pride. “Like, one of the things he hates the most is pride,” she insisted as she cited Bible verses.

“Proverbs 11:12 states that conceit leads to disgrace, but humility leads to wisdom. The Lord abhors all arrogant individuals. Rest assured, and they will be chastised,” Jackson continued. “Proverbs 16:18: Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”

Jackson was a member of “SNL” for six years before departing to create a failed sitcom with George Clooney. Jackson appeared on “SNL” between 1986 and 1992.

She left the show to portray a Las Vegas showgirl opposite George Clooney in a proposed sitcom, but the networks did not pick it up. Instead, she made numerous appearances on “Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher” and toured the country performing stand-up comedy.

In 2007, she joined “Friends of Abe,” a Hollywood conservative organization. She would later accuse former President Barack Obama of being an “Islamic jihadist” and criticize the FOX television series “Glee” for depicting a sickening homosexual kiss between two male actors.

The segment “The Dumper” was performed by Michael Jackson and Mike Myers on “SNL” on January 20, 1990. In 2014, she ran unsuccessfully for a county commission seat in Tennessee as an independent candidate.

Jackson later stated that her political and religious beliefs made it difficult to obtain entertainment industry jobs. Jackson also stated in August to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, “I was blacklisted. Blondes are the only individuals you can make fun of; blonde jokes are stupid. If you make a mockery of Muslims, you will be killed.”

She told the outlet that she also did not enjoy recent seasons of SNL. “The agenda is now so transparent.” Jackson stated, “It is evident that they intend to indoctrinate a new generation with a far-left agenda.” She added, “They were incapable of telling a joke about Obama. Alec Baldwin portrays [former President Donald] Trump with hatred. When depicting political figures, we did so with affection and wit.”

Phil Hartman as Ronald Reagan and Victoria Jackson as a census taker in “The Census” routine on “Saturday Night Live” on March 24, 1990. Twitter was divided in response to Jackson’s most recent claims.

If you were wondering what happened to Victoria Jackson from SNL thirty years ago (which you weren’t), she’s a hateful bat–t crazy person who spews judgmental nonsense at town halls,” one writer wrote.

“It’s unfortunate when a once humorous person takes such a dark path. It’s also unfortunate that Victoria Jackson turned out this way,” quipped another.

“I’ve presumed that Victoria Jackson is performing a single performance art piece for years. A lengthy deception. Aristocrats, if you will,” a third thought. “If Victoria Jackson is your spokesperson, you’re fvkced,” proclaimed a third individual.
