People will not have to wonder anymore why he has a song Runaway ー we can clearly see that it’s the rapper’s favorite pastime.

Kanye West is someone who has been in the headlines for a myriad of terrible reasons over the previous several months. He was outcasted from the hip-hop and political spheres because of his love of Nazis.

Moreover, he frequently had nasty things to say against the Jewish people, which was completely inappropriate. You also can’t mention this era without referencing his partnerships with Sneako, Nick Fuentes, and Milo Yiannapolous. Simply put, it was a period that Kanye supporters would rather forget.

Additionally, Kanye West was quite active on Instagram previous to this breakdown. This was where he went off against the likes of Adidas. Although they eventually released him from his arrangement, he substantially harmed his brand.

His most recent Instagram post was some love for Jonah Hill, whom he credits making him respect Jewish people again. Ultimately, these poor attempts at mending his image are not working, and now, he is simply giving up on Instagram.

Kanye West has decided to step away from one of his social media accounts, deactivating his Instagram without much explanation as to why. On Tuesday afternoon (April 18), Ye shared a snapshot to Instagram, effectively filling out the form to be one click away from temporarily canceling his account.

This isn’t Kanye West’s first step away from social media. He deactivated his IG in October 2018 and again in September 2020 in response to the backlash of his Saturday Night Live appearance and support for Donald Trump, where he donned the red MAGA cap.

More recently, Kanye was removed from Instagram following his antisemitic remarks in October 2022 and then suspended from Twitter by his friend Elon Musk in December 2022 after tweeting a picture that included a Swastika. Minutes afterward, he followed through with his departure since the link to Kanye’s IG was still broken as of press time.

The Chicago-bred musician looks to be wishing to lie low and spend time with his new wife, Bianca Censori, as he’s reportedly shut off preparations for a 2024 presidential bid, according to The Daily Beast.

“After once working together to elect West — or at least get him more attention through media appearances on fringe outlets like InfoWars — West campaign staffers like Fuentes, January 6 rally organizer Ali Alexander, and British provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos have turned on one another,” the outlet wrote.

This infighting has turned the DONDA rapper off from pushing the campaign further, with documentary filmmakers and advisers alike put off from the idea entirely — and West is okay with that, too.

“Right now, I am living my life — like I’m concentrating on the school, The Donda Academy, and my new wife, and my kids, and that’s it,” West said documentary director Adam Camacho, who was recruited to record the presidential campaign. “I just want to be left alone.”
