Gina Marie Krasley's Weight Loss Journey

Gina Marie Krasley was a star of the TLC reality show “My 600-lb Life,” where she shared her journey to lose weight and become more active. She weighed over 700 pounds at her peak and struggled to follow the program. Still, she was able to lose more than 200 pounds on her own.

The show is based on the emotional and physical journeys of obese people who seek help from weight loss doctors to lose weight and improve their health. It is also about the mental stress, drama, and pressure of losing weight.

When she joined “My 600-lb Life,” Gina was a 28-year-old woman who lived in Tuckerton, New Jersey, with her mother, Cathy Devereux, and her sister Ali Samuels. Her wife of nearly three years, Elizabeth “Beth” Krasley, provided her with care and support.

While filming the reality series, she and Beth traveled to Houston to visit Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, who worked with her to help her lose weight.

As a result, she gained weight and eventually got into a cycle of constant binge eating and obesity. To help her lose weight, she sought the help of Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, who specializes in bariatric surgery.

He agreed to work with her on the condition that she lose 75 percent of her body weight. However, she relapsed and gained back the weight she had lost.
