Total time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb Turkey – diced
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 4 cups Broccoli
  • 5 slices Bacon – chopped
  • ½ cup Onion
  • 1 cup Chicken stock
  • ½ cup Cream
  • ½ teaspoon Mustard powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • ½ cup Pork panko
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon Pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the broccoli and cut it into florets or bite-size pieces. Place them in a large glass bowl or measuring cup, add about a quarter cup of water, and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until the broccoli is bright green and tender. Set aside after draining.
  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon and onion until the bacon is lightly crisp and the onion is translucent. Approximately 5-6 minutes. Remove all but 1 tablespoon of the fat.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese and chicken stock over medium-low heat in the same skillet. Then add the mustard powder and lemon juice.
  4. Add the cream and, if desired, thicken it with 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum. Mix until creamy and smooth.
  5. Add in the drained broccoli and diced turkey. Mix well.
  6. Fill a buttered casserole dish halfway with the contents and top with the pork panko and butter.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 375° or until golden brown and bubbling,
