Ingredients

  • 12 Asparagus spears
  • 6 slices Turkey bacon
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar – preferably sugar-free (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F(191°C).
  2. Wash the asparagus thoroughly, especially the woody end of the asparagus spears, and remove any dead pieces.
  3. Cut each slice of turkey bacon in half.
  4. Arrange the asparagus on a sheet pan and drizzle with avocado oil—season with salt, pepper, and sugar-free brown sugar to taste. Toss lightly to coat.
