Ingredients
- 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 Thin slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup Almond flour
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 large Eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut a slit in each chicken breast to create a pocket. Stuff each pocket with 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese.
- In a shallow bowl, combine almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat it in almond flour.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and rest for a few minutes before serving.
