It’s her mother versus stepmother in this “best of the best” game.
Alabama Barker, the daughter of Travis Barker of “Blink-182” and Shanna Moakler, recently expressed her support for Kourtney Kardashian on social media. This is in response to statements her mother, Moakler, made about Kardashian on social media.
As seen on her Instagram stories on Tuesday, Alabama penned a sweet birthday message to the “KUWTK” star for her 44th birthday. Her statement included praises about Kourtney being the “best stepmom,” adding that she wouldn’t want another.
“Happy birthday kourt, your the best step mom I could ask for, you are so caring and generous for others, you are such a family person and such a hard working mom, even if you don’t feel good or had a hard day,” her birthday message reads.
“You always put your family first, you have such a beautiful aura I wouldn’t want a another step mom, @kourtneykardash.” She wrote this alongside a photo of Kourtney and her father, Travis, having a sweet moment inside an aircraft where the reality star sits on the singer’s lap.
The 17-year-old’s Instagram story comes after her own mother, Shanna, shaded Kourtney last week on social media, emphasizing how her kids got more social media screen time than the “Poosh” founder’s own kids.
The shade happened when a fan commented under a selfie she had uploaded that referenced Kourtney and Barker’s Hulu wedding special, which reads, “I hope that you get a huge apology some day for what was said on that exploitative, money grabbing, circus.”
A few days later, the former Miss USA replied, criticizing the television personality by writing, “she post more of my kids then [sic] her own lol.” Daughter Penelope and sons Mason and Reign are Kourtney’s children from a previous relationship with Scott Disick.
Meanwhile, Landon and Alabama are the two biological children that Travis and Shanna share. The drummer also keeps in touch with Atiana De La Hoya, Shanna’s first kid from her former marriage to Oscar De La Hoya.
As of this writing, Kourtney has not released any statement regarding the model’s shade. But she somehow indirectly responded by posting a series of photos, mainly featuring her family and clan in general, during their Las Vegas wedding.
