The announcement comes little over a week before the release of his new album, = (pronounced as Equals). The singer is set to appear as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 6, and he will be a prominent coach on NBC’s The Voice this week.
On November 5, the musician is also set to tell a bedtime tale on BBC’s “CBeebies Bedtime Stories” program, which can be viewed on the CBeebies channel and on BBC iPlayer.
According to Billboard, Sheeran confirmed the dates for his 2022 U.K./European stadium tour in September, which will feature performances in Manchester, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and among other locations.
A rep for him did not immediately indicate which shows he will cancel and which he will perform from home.
