RHONY S14

Aside from expecting new friendships and drama, fans of the Bravo hit reality program can also anticipate some new cast members when the show returns. Earlier this year, the series’ executive producer, Andy Cohen, revealed that season 14 would see a new cast of Housewives.

The casting was announced during the “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” taping on Sunday, the last day of BravoCon, a weekend-long event for fans of Bravo’s shows. The soon-to-be housewives also happened to make a cameo appearance in an episode of the show and walked on stage.

The upcoming season of “RHONY” will debut in 2023, and filming will start this fall. It will feature seven new cast members Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Lizzy Savetsky, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, and Jenna Lyons. The main facts about each of them are listed below.

Sai De Silva

Sai De Silva is a fashion influencer and style vlogger who has already made several appearances on television and has built a social media following on platforms like YouTube and Instagram.

With more than 50,000 subscribers, her YouTube channel offers content, including shopping hauls, cosmetic tutorials, and inside glimpses at New York Fashion Week. She has over 383K followers on Instagram as well and uses the platform to highlight her Afro-Latina background and New York City roots.

A lifestyle blog addressing subjects like parenthood, fashion, travel, and beauty, “Scout the City” is another venture of hers for which she serves as creative director. Among others, the Today program, Refinery29, Forbes, and New York Times have given her site recognition.

Moreover, Sai is a married woman who resides in Brooklyn with her spouse, David Craig, and their two children, Rio and London.

Ubah Hassan

Model Ubah Hassan, who now resides in Kenya, was born in Somalia. Ubah eventually traveled to Canada, where a modeling firm hired her. Later, she started working as a model for renowned fashion houses, including Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, and Gucci.

Ubah later traveled to New York City to advance her modeling career, and she now considers the city to be her home. She kept modeling while launching her own line of hot sauces called “Ubah Hot,” which was featured in Oprah’s Favorite Things last year. Furthermore, she demonstrates a strong sense of philanthropy.

Erin Dana Lichy

At the age of 19, Erin Dana Lichy began her career as a real estate agent. Erin then went on to found the interior design firm “Homegirl.” Erin was born in Manhattan and currently resides in Tribeca with her three children and lawyer husband, Abraham Lichy. Bravo’s website characterized her as a “funny, confident, and candid New Yorker.”

Lizzy Savetsky

Digital influencer, activist, and upcoming television personality Lizzy Savetsky is a native of Fort Worth, Texas. Lizzy is the host of her own Instagram show, Bashert, where she highlights her Jewish history and faith. The show is described as a weekly IGTV series that follows Jewish singles who are seeking love.

Along with having three children, Lizzy is married to plastic surgeon Dr. Ira Savetsy. The big family currently lives in New York City.

Jessel Taank

Jessel Taank, a British-Indian, works as a publicist and brand consultant for the fashion industry. She married financier Pavit Randhawa in 2014; the couple is parents to twin boys.

As a matter of fact, she met her spouse in a bar on the Lower East Side after a friend introduced them. Before dating began, they were close friends for a long time; their relationship took a little while to develop.

Brynn Whitfield

Brynn Whitfield is a branding and marketing strategist, as well as a communications expert who enjoys hosting dinner parties in her West Village apartment and shopping for new clothes.

According to Bravo, Brynn is a “cheeky trophy wife in training” who was born in the Midwest and currently resides in the West Village. Her grandmother, who raised her, imparted many lessons about the vastness of the world and the need to make your own way in it.

Jenna Lyons

Former “J.Crew Group” president and executive creative director Jenna Lyons is now a co-founder of the beauty and cosmetics company “LoveSeen,” a company that produces a natural line of false eyelashes.

In 2020, HBO Max aired “Stylish with Jenna Lyons,” which was Jenna’s own reality program. She currently shares residence in the Big Apple with her son, Beckett, whom she had with her ex-husband, artist Vincent Mazeau.

Jenna is also the second openly LGBTQ person in the franchise’s history to make it onto the show and join the cast.

RHONY Season 14

Last year, “Real Housewives of New York City” season 13 abruptly came to an end without the planned reunion to wrap things off, notably the conflict between Ramona Singer and newbie Eboni K. Williams. Other cast members of the show at that time are Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Leah McSweeney.

As we previously reported, Cohen has already made hints about this upcoming reboot of the program, claiming that the coming fourteenth season of the show will feature a brand new lineup of housewives.

“You know that we’re at a crossroads for ‘RHONY,'” Cohen said at that time to Variety“We’ve spent a lot of time figuring out where to go. And the plan that we’ve come up with, I think, is a real gift to the fans.”
