Ingredients

  • 1 pound Beef
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 1 Medium onion
  • Salt as desired

Instructions

  1. Slice beef and onions.
  2. Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and honey in a large bowl or zip-top bag. Allow the meat to marinate for 15 to 30 minutes before cooking. Cover and chill the dish if you are preparing it ahead of time for 30 minutes before cooking.
  3. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat in a large nonstick skillet. Add the meat (with marinade), stir-fry until mostly browned, and then add the thinly sliced onions. Onions should soften after 4 minutes of stirring. Give it a taste, and if you prefer to add more salt, do so now and mix well.
  4. Remove from heat and serve
