There is a limit to being a good housewife and that is when you cover your husband’s actions and crime.
Tamar Braxton claims Kandi Burruss wants to deflect and condone her husband, Todd Tucker, abusive and disrespectful behavior as she reveals bad blood between the two. In one of the seasons of “Celebrity Big Brother,” Tamar and Kandi are forced to confront their tumultuous relationship head-on as they share a home.
One of the premiers revealed that Braxton and Burruss have been feuding since she toured with Burruss and Xscape last year. Tamar said, “Last year at this time, we went on tour together and had a hugely successful run. And with Xscape, myself, and another singer, she’s never really liked me that way.”
Braxton claimed that Burruss had a general disdain for her, but Xscape’s singer told a different tale. She claimed their feud began when Braxton invited individuals who had disparaged Burruss on tour. She also stated that Braxton stopped following her after Burruss appeared on “The Real Housewives.”
“When we became co-hosts or guests on the show, she became upset and unfollowed all of us on social media,” she explained. “So that’s what I mean. Throughout our lives, there have been multiple instances where we’ve been chill, and she’s gotten angry. Then she’ll stop following us, and then she’ll decide she’s calm again, then she’ll get mad and stop following us.”
Tamar Braxton also claimed she was threatened by one of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars and her husband, referring to Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker.

“This amuses me. Perhaps because they don’t want you to know who they are, no one spoke up.” Later, celebrity blogger @officialkenbarbie reported that Kandi and Todd were the suspected perpetrators at the time of the alleged threat. According to the source, Todd felt the need to confront Tamar during a recent concert in Tampa.
There’s tension between Kandi and Tamar because Kandi wasn’t feeling the feedback Tamar gave when discussing the allegations that producer #CarlosKing began working on a #Xscape biopic behind her back.
According to reports, the two had an altercation on December 10, and Tamar believes Kandi has gone so far as to try to have her removed from future shows.
Tonight, while Kandi was performing on stage, Todd attempted to take matters into his own hands. Tamar continued, “If I had done what they did, they would have told the entire world.”
Tamar made a shocking declaration on Instagram just last year with the statement: “I’ve got a story… care to hear it?” the celebrity wrote. “I was threatened by a [peach emoji] and her man…” she added in her subsequent Instagram post.
During Wednesday’s episode, the two women attempted to bury the hatchet, but their efforts were unsuccessful. When Braxton attempted to pull Burruss aside to discuss their problems, the singer’s response offended her.
“I feel like you commented about things you didn’t know about and shouldn’t have gotten involved in,” Braxton said. “You intervened in the situation.” Burruss then replied, “I don’t recall ever saying anything about you.”
Braxton stated that Burruss made her feel disrespected while on tour. “I was forced to endure discomfort at work,” she said, adding that she had the impression that others were speaking negatively about her while on tour. Burruss replied, “I had no intent to attack you.” And when Burruss began to laugh, Braxton stormed out of the room. She said, “I’m trying to tell you how I feel, but you’re laughing.”
Multiple fans requested that Kandi address the situation, and she did so in response. “Right now, the only thing I’ll say is… that’s not true. My husband has yet to speak with her. He did not threaten her. She stated with a dismissive tone that none of that was true.”
She continued, “She and I exchanged words, but he did not. Some people like to bend the truth a bit, but we can discuss this on a different platform later. Or not,” she added before shifting to a different topic.
