He was a real-life Fezco, and fans can say he is perfect for the role because of this.

American actor Angus Cloud is well known for playing the role of Fezco in the highly regarded HBO series “Euphoria,” but as his celebrity status was rising, his former manager made the decision to say something that would damage it.

Angus’ former manager, Diomi Cordero, has spoken up with information on his suspected drug abuse in a lengthy statement released on his Twitter account, alongside a photo showing that the HBO star terminated him as his manager.

“On February 21st 2022, | resigned as Angus Cloud’s talent manager. My decision to resign was prompted by Angus’ verbal abuse, emotional distress & severe drug addiction, which rendered it impossible for me to continue my professional relationship with him. (THREAD),” Diomi’s statement began.

“As a result of my resignation, for over a year, I have been pursuing the collection of my outstanding management commissions from Angus, totaling over $60,000.00. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this matter amicably, I have yet to receive any of the payments owed to me.”

He continued: “In sharing my story, I hope to not only find solace & healing but to also inspire others who may be struggling to find their voice in an industry where most are silenced. I wanted to be a testament to the power of speaking up and owning one’s truth, even in the face of adversity.”

In a lengthy thread he shared on Twitter, Diomi said that Angus became his patient at the time he chose to work a graveyard shift as a mental health technician at a rehabilitation center, only two weeks after he started there.

He also stated that they grew close and started working professionally together in April 2021, when the actor requested him to quit his current job in exchange for working for him as his manager. The tweet attached his resignation letter to the undisclosed mental health facility.

Diomi further stated that the actor’s affairs were a mess before he took over as Angus’ manager and in the middle of “Euphoria 2” filming, which drove him to get them in order. He did this by hiring the actor a publicist and new “acting & fashion agents,” who assisted him in acquiring “health insurance” and “ensured that his SAG-AFTRA account was correctly configured.”

“This intervention allowed Angus to regain control of his personal and professional life.” Diomi went on to talk about Angus’ “sobriety” and thanked Sam Levinson, the show’s director, for sticking by him despite the negative press that the internet had painted him with.

“It is worth noting that Sam Levinson consistently exceeded expectations in his efforts to support Angus. Mr. Levinson has played an essential role in Angus’ journey towards recovery, a fact that remains true to this day.”

Additionally, it is said that HBO and the show’s director went above and beyond to see to it that Angus’ entire medical expenses at the rehab center were paid for, continuing until he finished his program.

In spite of being surrounded by friends who reportedly continued to use drugs and endanger the actor’s sobriety for the following few months, Cordero believes that Angus was doing well at the time.

However, it wasn’t until two days after the actor left rehab that he went to his house, and it was instantly clear that he had resumed substance abuse again just two days after finishing treatment.

After a few months, according to Cordero, things started to become worse, and by November 2021, Cloud had obviously lost control of his addiction. He also claims that Levinson begged Angus to put up a fight for his life.

There was also an instance wherein he performed CPR on Angus as he had trouble breathing from consuming too many drugs with his friends. This required him to rush to his place as soon as possible to help him at that time. This was also when Angus was set to fly to Oklahoma for another role.

All of these incidents led to Angus becoming extremely abusive, according to Diomi, who also claimed that he went so far as to humiliate the actor in public in front of his friends and even his coworkers. But the final straw was the actor’s invitation to a Versace fashion show in Europe—to which he would have wanted to travel with friends.

“Consequently, I resigned from my position that day,” he remarked, stressing that Cloud couldn’t attend as he was “high on drugs,” leading to a JFK staff allegedly refusing him to let on board.

“As a result of my resignation, for over a year, I have been pursuing the collection of my outstanding management commissions from Angus, totaling over $60,000.00,” he added. “Despite repeated attempts to resolve this matter amicably, I have yet to receive any of the payments owed to me.”

Diomi then concluded his statement by saying, “In sharing my story, I hope to not only find solace & healing but to also inspire others who may be struggling to find their voice in an industry where most are silenced. I wanted to be a testament to the power of speaking up and owning one’s truth, even in the face of adversity.”

As of the time of this writing, Angus’ new management has not responded to the allegations or provided a statement about them. Meanwhile, Diomi disclosed that his new management made him an offer of a settlement, which he turned down.
