Recently, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum and the main cast member of “Vanderpump Rules,” Lisa Vanderpump, discussed the breakup of Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval and his affair with Raquel Leviss.
Lisa is no stranger to drama, but even she was surprised by the split between Ariana and Sandoval, especially with Raquel’s involvement in it and being the reason why the two are no longer together.
During her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, the restaurant owner even labeled Raquel as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing,” saying, “I literally had no words. I didn’t see it coming — nobody saw it coming.”
Lisa further said that she had seen Ariana and had filmed with her, adding that the plot currently relies heavily on their breakup and his then-boyfriend’s relationship with the former beauty queen. And if she had to choose one word to sum up Ariana, it would be “devastated.”
She also expressed her outrage over the degree of deceit that Sandoval and Raquel displayed, stating, “I clearly didn’t know who Raquel was. She stuck her toe in the Peter [Madrigal] pond, she snagged Oliver [Saunders], she schmoozed with [Tom] Schwartz, and she shagged Scandoval.”
Lisa also brought up Sandoval’s two public apologies, the first of which focused on how the turmoil he sparked has impacted his business and the second of which was explicitly directed to Ariana.
“Obviously, it was because he got some sort of reaction to the first apology that he felt he needed to for Ariana,” she slammed. “But I don’t think these apologies are worth the paper or the social media they are written on.”
Last but not least, when questioned about a possible cast reunion, Lisa expressed her desire that they could all sit down and develop a better understanding, but she also expressed her concern that it wouldn’t be the same reunion.
“I want to see true contrition, and when the reunion comes, I hope we can all sit down and have a better understanding,” the tv personality remarked. “We will have a much better understanding when we get through the reunion. But I think it is going to be really tough. I don’t think it is going to be the same reunion where there are these accusations flying because they admitted to it.”
“I think it is going to be difficult. This is huge. This is breaking up a couple that has been together for [nearly 10] years and the deceit. [Raquel] acted like a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” she concluded.
For the course of their more than nine-year relationship, Ariana and Sandoval’s relationship was previously seen as unbreakable. However, in recent weeks, Ariana ended their relationship after finding that Tom had been seeing another woman behind her back, and what’s worse is that he’s seeing their co-star and her once-considered friend, Raquel.
As a matter of fact, Raquel even gave an update regarding her relationship with Sandoval now that their affair has come to light and he is no longer with Ariana. While she didn’t go into great depth about what unfolded, it seemed like she and Sandoval were still together and trying to work through the affair.
Fans could only hope that a reunion would be pursued for the time being. A lot more drama will undoubtedly result from the three of them being together in one place since additional information will undoubtedly surface. The reunion will definitely be worth watching, whatever happens.
