Birds with the same feathers, bullies people together, then takes a vacation.
This week, Porsha Williams and Gizelle Bryant infuriated fans as they referred to the new duo as “the bullies” of the group, which surprised them because this journey made them like Gizelle more. Unfortunately, after viewing episode 4 of “Ultimate Girls Trip: Thailand” this week, viewers turned against the duo.
Fans disapprove of Porsha and Gizelle’s use of the term “fun shade” to describe their exclusive use of negative comments about other cast members from their respective programs. Fans are also unhappy with Porsha and Gizelle’s dispute with Leah McSweeney over her boredom at a dinner two episodes prior.
Leah’s remarks were not so objectionable that Porsha and Gizelle must argue and fought with her for the remainder of the trip. If you recall, in season 7 of “RHOP,” fans disliked Porsha’s support for Gizelle in the drama she initiated with Candiace and her spouse Chris.
After their previous online dispute, “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard Bassett was apprehensive about traveling to Thailand with Porsha. In fact, Porsha and Candiace are just two housewives who traveled to Thailand last summer to film the third season of “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”
During the fifth season of Potomac in 2020, Porsha even disparaged Candiace’s physical altercation with co-star Monique Samuels, implying that Candiace was suing Monique for a down payment on a property. Candiace responded by accusing Porsha of lying at the time.
But Candiace also shared that she was most anxious about interacting with Porsha during the Thailand vacation, saying, “Porsha has good energy. People say many things about Porsha — she’s this, she’s that. But I’m an energy reader, and I believe in energy. We had our moments, but she had good energy. I was initially nervous, but I think everything turned out alright.”
Moreover, Porsha and Gizelle even went on another vacation more than three months after returning from filming the said Season 3 in Thailand.
Thanks to the Instagram photos Porsha posted back on November 8, 2022, from their reunion in New York City, we even saw the festivities. “Together, [The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Real Housewives of Potomac] are a kiki!!!” the former “RHOA” cast member captioned the images of them posing on a city sidewalk.
“We nailed this interview for [RHUGT]… I adore Gizzy.” In the comments, Gizelle expressed her appreciation for her “PW,” with whom she became friends while co-hosting Bravo’s Chat Room, by posting three flame emoticons.
Their “RHUGT” castmates Heather Gay of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” and Alexia Nepola of “The Real Housewives of Miami” appear to be on good terms with the duo, based on their comments. Alexia replied, “Love [you], and y’all look gorgeous.”
